Kānaka Kōkua
Rooted in the values of aloha (compassion) and kuleana (responsibility)
This program offers hands-on support to economically and socially disadvantaged Native Hawaiians. This initiative provides essential services that directly improve daily living conditions and preserve dignity for our community members in need.
Through this program, trained volunteers and staff deliver practical assistance such as:
- Yard Maintenance
- Minor Home Repairs
- Small Engine Servicing
- Other Household Improvements
In addition, Kānaka Kōkua extends a helping hand to our cherished kūpuna by assisting with errands like grocery shopping, prescription pickups, and other everyday tasks that support their independence and well-being. By meeting these basic needs with care and cultural sensitivity, Kānaka Kōkua helps build stronger, healthier communities rooted in Hawaiian values.

These gatherings serve as an opportunity to identify areas of community need, introduce our programs and services, and explore how we can uplift one another through collective action.

Whether you are a beneficiary, longtime supporter, or simply wish to learn more, all are warmly welcomed.
Each event includes shared food and refreshments, reflecting the deep cultural value of ho’okipa (hospitality) and the belief that nourishing one another strengthens pilina (relationships) and fortifies the bonds of our lāhui.
